Young
comes to The Arbors from Kingsmill Resort in
Williamsburg (VA) where
he managed condominium rental and membership
programs, including coordination of operations,
renovations
and maintenance of units for eight years. He
served as Director of Owner Relations and Project
Administration,
Director of Community Affairs and Property Development,
and Director of Owner Relations and Membership
for the 2,200 property owners residing in the
resort community. Young’s twenty years
in the hospitality industry provides an excellent
background for his
responsibility for the overall quality of life
at The Arbors.

Phelps recently joined The Arbors with almost 30 years experience working in Hotel Properties. After growing up in a Country Inn in Western New York State, she graduated from Cornell's School of Hotel Administration and came directly to Virginia to work for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Since then she has managed the Golden Horseshoe Club House, was Assistant Manager of the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, served a Manager of Conference Services for their guest rooms, and coordinated the Maintenance for the shops and restaurants in Merchants Square. Phelps’ wide variety of experience positively enhances our housekeeping, maintenance, and dining services to meet the luxury standards of The Arbors. |

A
native of Newport News, Parisher has a 30-year background
as a local
business owner and manager. At The Arbors she organizes
activities and theater excursions, plans social events
and receptions, and assembles movie and game events.
She also plans field trips to museums and festivals,
sports events, and shopping destinations. Her responsibilities
include providing move-in tips and assistance, and
acting as general liaison for Arbors residents. She
is an expert at "painting a picture" of
life at The Arbors and understanding the needs of
our residents. |

Ms.
Clemons brings to The Arbors extensive experience
in both the medical
and educational areas. Most recently she directed
RNs at Brookside Home Health Care who provided services
to homebound clients. She has also served as a Visiting
Nurse/Case Manager responsible for planning and providing
individualized care to patients. Add to this her
experience in developing community outreach programs.
With The Arbors’ emphasis on good health, Ms.
Clemons will apply her expertise to educational programs,
and the monitoring of overall health and welfare
to residents in such areas as nutrition, exercise
and wellness. Customized programs along with group
aerobics and yoga sessions compliment the overall
program offerings. |

Certified
by the American Culinary Federation, Jones apprenticed
at The Trellis Restaurant
in Williamsburg, and has held positions as chef with
various upscale restaurants in the Hampton Roads
area such as River’s Inn in Gloucester, Ford’s
Colony in Williamsburg, and Cities Grill in Newport
News. Chef Jones will cater to both casual and more
formal dining tastes as he oversees all aspects of
kitchen operation, including menu development and
food preparation, quality and presentation. His creative
touch to cookery will keep your forks poised and
your mouth watering! |

A
life long resident of the Virginia Peninsula, Lassen
received her degree in Retail Merchandising.
She has had a successful career in sales and event
planning. As The Arbors’ Director of Sales,
Lassen is responsible for meeting prospective new
residents, the planning of special events for marketing,
promoting The Arbors in the local community and making
potential residents aware of the offerings of our
community. |
