What happens if my apartment is ready at The Arbors and my current home has not yet been sold?
We will work with all residents to assure that in any situation The Arbors will attempt to resolve the issue in a mutually beneficial manner. We realize that one cannot always predict precise move-in dates when the sale of a home or the relinquishment of an apartment is an issue.

Do you have a Moving Assistance Program?
Yes, The Arbors has developed close relationships with a broad range of relocation-related services designed to assist seniors and their families. Each new resident is given a relocation guide which provides senior relocation specialists, moving companies, qualified realtors, financial advisors as well as general information about the local area; shopping, doctors’ offices, etc. We want your move to The Arbors to be as easy and stress free as possible.

Living Here: Dining

Are meals included in my Monthly Service Fee?
Monthly fee includes equivalent to one meal daily that may be consumed at residents’ discretion per month. Residents will not be required to take just the dinner or luncheon meal. The meal plan offers the flexibility to choose the meal (or meals) desired and still remain within the one meal per day plan.

The meal plan will allow residents to use their individual daily meal option in any of the dining areas, acquire additional meals separately, or have additional meals added to their plan on a monthly plan basis.

Living Here: Getting Around

Will The Arbors provide transportation?
The Arbors will provide two vehicles for scheduled group and private transportation to many different shopping areas on the Peninsula, as well as to your physician’s office for appointments. Outings to restaurants, malls, and cultural events are all planned for The Arbors.

Living Here: Pets

Are pets allowed at The Arbors?
Pets will be allowed, given the advanced authorization and approval of the management. Pets must be under the control of the resident at all times. A one-time pet deposit will be required and is refundable if the apartments are not damaged as a result of the pet.

Living Here: Our Apartments

Are overnight accommodations available for my guests?
Yes. The Arbors offers “Bed & Breakfast” accommodations for guests of our residents. The costs are reasonable and include dining options, plus use of the common areas of the facility. These accommodations are also available to residents who may be in the process of moving into The Arbors and for out-of-town prospects for residency. Advance reservations are required by contacting the Concierge.

Will I be able to customize my apartment to my own taste?
Customizations of individual apartments will, of course, be allowed, but only with prior approval by The Arbors management. There are many floor plans from which to choose at no extra cost. Also, you will have many alternatives for personal decor.
